Do you wish you spent less time managing your research data, and more time on your research? This short workshop provides basic strategies for managing research data efficiently. Topics include: organizing and naming files, strategies for data storage, data security and backups, documentation, and file formats for long-term access. NOTE: This workshop takes place at the Dentistry Library, 124 Edward Street, Room 266C.

This workshop provides an introduction to using SPSS to perform common data management and basic statistical analysis tasks. Participants will work through hands-on exercises in SPSS, and will learn to import spreadsheets, manage and edit data, create charts and other visualizations, and run descriptive statistical tests. Note: this workshop will not cover advanced statistical concepts, but participants will be provided with suggested resources for additional skills development. NOTE: This workshop takes place at the Dentistry Library, 124 Edward Street, Room 266C.

In this workshop you will learn how to create a library, create and manage groups, import citations from different databases, remove duplications, find full-text, edit output styles, and use the EndNote plugin for MS Word to create and edit bibliographies.
