Inforum, at the Faculty of Information (iSchool)

The Inforum collects scholarly and professional literature in information and museum studies, and supports the academic research and professional development activities of faculty, staff, and students in these fields.

The Inforum houses the only research library collection within Canada to focus exclusively on the scholarly and professional literature of information and museum studies. It is especially strong for its holdings of professional literature, which include handbooks, guides, grey literature, and reference resources for information and museum professionals. Special collections at the Inforum include the Cook Collection on Bibliographic Control and the Subject Analysis Systems (SAS) Collection. Recent publications and course reserves are housed on-site at the Inforum. Older publications and low-use items are shelved off-site.
