How can I access electronic copies of journals?

Search for your journal by its title in the library catalogue

catalogue search by journal title

In the search results, look for the online version of your journal. Click on one of the web links that cover the years you want.

When you click the link, you will be asked to sign in if you are off campus.  You should then be redirected to the journal.

Not all journals are available electronically.  If you don't find what you're looking for,

  • Search the library catalogue for a print version.
  • If the University of Toronto doesn't have a copy, you can place an interlibrary loan to get the journal issue from another university library.

Try our journal-browsing service, BrowZine, to easily scan through new issues of your favourite journals and open articles PDFs. BrowZine is available as an app for Android and iOS smartphones and tablets. There is also a web version for desktops and laptops.
