Just like on the old library website, there are many ways to find articles on the new library website. Here are a few of our favourite methods.
Method #1: Search box
The fastest way to search for articles is by typing in your topic in the big search box on the library homepage.
You'll see an articles search results panel and you can then click on one of the previewed articles, or click to view all of the articles that match your search words.
If you do that, you'll be redirected to our main article search tool, Summon. This is the same thing you were searching on the articles tab on the old website.
Method #2: Article link
Our new site is mobile-responsive, so this link might be in a different place depending on your screen's size. If you're on a larger screen, you should see it to the right of the big search box.
If you're on a smaller screen, you will see it below the big search box.
Once you click on it, you'll be redirected to our main article search tool, Summon. This is the same thing you were searching on the Articles tab on the old website.
Method #3: Links below Articles
Below the articles heading, we've provided you with links to search different kinds of articles: scholarly, newspaper, and magazine. When you search using one of these links, all of your search results will be only the type of article you clicked on.
Method #4: Other article databases
The search engine we've used in the above methods (Summon) is only one of the hundreds of article databases that you have access to. Try exploring one of our popular databases or one of the databases that's best for your subject.
