Changes to UTORexchange that will affect account access

As of Thursday, December 5, changes to the UTORexchange service will cause accounts using Outlook (desktop or mobile) to stop working. UTORexchange accounts will continue to be accessible via owa.utoronto.ca or apps or devices configured with IMAP or POP. 

If you are still using an email account on the legacy UTORexchange service, you can connect to it via the following IMAP settings

  • IMAP server: eximap.utoronto.ca, using SSL on TCP port 993
  • SMTP server: exsmtp.utoronto.ca, using STARTTLS on TCP port 587

If you are eligible to upgrade to UTmail+ you should self-register for migration at migrateme.email.utoronto.ca. You will need to log in with your UTORid and password. More details are available in our UTORexchange end of service article.
