Changes to security features for Office 365 may impact older devices/apps

At the end of June 2020, the University will be implementing changes to enhance security of Office 365 users. TLS 1.0 and 1.1 will no longer be supported. 

This may cause issues when attempting to connect to Office 365 from certain devices/apps. Read the full article about the changes.

RESOLVED: Upgrading your Mac to 10.15.4 causes issues with Mac Mail and UTmail+

If you use Mac Mail to access your UTmail+ account, after upgrading to 10.15.4, Mac Mail will show an alert that your Exchange password is required. When you follow the prompts provided, you will see a message that it requires admin privileges and to contact the administrator. Technical staff are aware of the issue and are investigating it. In the meantime, you can use mail.utoronto.ca or Outlook to access your UTmail+ account.
