Resolved: Problems with activating Office for Mac (UTmail+ clients)

Update: The sign-in and activation issues have now been resolved.

If you downloaded and installed Office for Mac from your UTmail+ account, you may experience some issues signing in that are currently under investigation.

We're investigating an issue in which users may be unable to sign-in to Office 365 and are receiving an error related to Office 365 subscription activation. More details can be found in the admin portal under MO146611.

New phishing email claims Mailbox syncing failed

We have seen reports of a malicious email that claims your mailbox is failing to sync and then providing a link to retrieve messages. 

Do not click on this link. Do not provide information or follow links sent to you in emails, especially when they warn you of losing access to an account if you fail to do so. This is almost always a ploy from a malicious sender to get personal information or login credentials. 

UofT in general and University of Toronto libraries in particular will not send links asking you to log into a site.  You should always navigate to services using web addresses you know rather than ones provided in an email.

Resolved: Quercus Email Delivery Delays Due to High Volume

Update: The email delivery issues have now been resolved.

Delivery delays for emails sent from Quercus to UofT recipients have been reported. The issue is under investigation. Messages are being queued and will continue to be delivered as quickly as possible.
