Free Museum and Arts Passes now available to U of T students

The University of Toronto Libraries are again partnering with the Toronto Public Library to offer the popular Museum + Arts Pass (MAP) to U of T students.

Students who are 18 and over can request a MAP booklet at Robarts Library. The booklet contains a MAP pass that students can bring into any Toronto Public Library branch to activate. Please note that not all venue passes are available at all branches. To learn what passes are available at which branches visit this page. For more information on the program please contact the Toronto Public Library. Students need a valid Toronto Public Library card to activate their pass. Toronto Public Library cards are free to anyone living, studying or working in the City of Toronto.

The MAP pass, which is valid for three months after the date activated, is good for free admission for two to one of the following venues:

  • Aga Khan Museum
  • Art Gallery of Ontario
  • Bata Shoe Museum
  • Black Creek Pioneer Village
  • City of Toronto Historic Sites (includes Colborne Lodge in High Park, Fort York National Historic Site, Gibson House Museum, Mackenzie House, Montgomery Inn, Scarborough Museum, Spadina Museum: Historic House & Gardens, Todmorden Mills Heritage Site)
  • Royal Ontario Museum
  • Textile Museum of Canada

The booklets will be handed out at Robarts Library from now until they run out.
