How do I link to course readings while respecting copyright?

Linking is a good way to point your students to the University of Toronto's licensed electronic resources. The library's Course Reading Services will work with you to responsibly link, download, or license the materials you require for your teaching.

Books

  • Click the sharing icon 
  • Click the link icon

Articles

  • Find the article through Article Finder, Article Search or another database
  • Use the database's provided permanent link if available as long as myaccess.library.utoronto.ca appears in the URL.
  • In the banner above the article (if one appears) click "Short URL":
