Article processing charge discounts for University of Toronto affiliated authors

For University of Toronto affiliated authors looking to publish in an open access journal, the University of Toronto Libraries has negotiated article processing charge (APC) discounts with a number of publishers. These discounts help to support publication in open access journals by reducing some of the financial obligations on University of Toronto faculty.

UTL's newest addition is a 20% APC discount with Cambridge University Press. Other discounts are available for BioMed Central, SAGE, and SpringerOpen  journals, amongst others. For the full list, visit our APC discounts page.

To learn more about the benefits of open access, see the Scholarly Communications and Copyright Office's page on publishing open access or contact us at scholarly.communications@library.utoronto.ca.
