UTORexchange will be decommissioned as of January 2020 and all email accounts still residing on UTORexchange will be closed and permanently deleted.
How to prepare:
Those still on UTORexchange who are eligible for the UTmail+ email service should register for migration as soon as possible. Eligibility is based on the HR & Equity guideline for access to email (see the Guideline: Email Accounts for University of Toronto Staff, Faculty and Librarians at policies.hrandequity.utoronto.ca).
If you are eligible you should self-register for migration at migrateme.email.utoronto.ca. You will need to log in with your UTORid and password. The MigrateMe site will check eligibility, and then assign a migration date if you are eligible.
If you are ineligible and want to retain your account data, you can export it from your mailbox prior to closure using a mail client (see the "Managing Legacy Email Data" section).
If you have any questions with regards to your status, contact UofT (registrar’s office for questions about student or alumni status, or Human Resources for questions about staff status).
Please also note that in late November, UTORexchange accounts using desktop Outlook will stop working. UTORexchange accounts will continue to be accessible via owa.utoronto.ca or apps or devices configured with IMAP or POP.
