Lending to other institutions

The University of Toronto Libraries is able to share much of its physical and digital collections with libraries worldwide through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

Eligibility

Individuals not affiliated with the University of Toronto should contact their local library to ask about interlibrary loan.

We consider interlibrary loan lending requests from all institutions. Please note that in many cases fees will apply.

Fees

All fees are in Canadian dollars, unless otherwise indicated. Payment options include monthly invoice, VISA or MasterCard, OCLC IFM, or IFLA vouchers

Fee charging lenders include most central libraries, as well as UTM and UTSC libraries. For information about interlibrary loan services and charges at other University of Toronto libraries, please contact them directly.
