Happy Birthday Toronto: Album of Historical Drawings and Sketches of Toronto and Surrounding Areas

To mark the occasion of Toronto's 187th birthday on March 6, 2021, PJ Carefoote, Head, Rare Books and Special Collections, has written about an extraordinary album of watercolours acquired by the Fisher Library which provides a contemporaneous view of Toronto and southern Ontario that stands in stark contrast to its photographic counterpart.
