Open Vic with Lisa Sherlock, Chief Librarian

On September 1, 2013 Lisa Sherlock became the Chief Librarian of the Victoria College Libraries (Centre for Reformation and Renaissance Studies, E.J. Pratt and Emmanuel College Libraries). She will continue the work of Professor Robert C. Brandeis, chief librarian since 1977, to actively build collaborative relationships with researchers, faculty, students and other communities of interest, with the shared goal of enhancing, preserving and promoting Vic’s world renowned collections. These include collections by and about E.J. Pratt, Northrop Frye, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Virginia Woolf and the Bloomsbury Group, and John Wesley.

Lisa is looking forward to meeting as many of her UofT library colleagues at this showcase where she will highlight the libraries collections and discuss their role and that of the libraries into the future.
