We strive to ensure our web spaces conform to Level AA standards, as per WCAG 2.0 and AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) standards and timelines. This work includes making sites compatible with assistive technologies, such as screen readers, as well as ensuring content is clear and understandable to a wide variety of users.
Third party services
Individuals using adaptive/assistive technologies may experience barriers when using third party webpages, interfaces, and applications such as databases or ebook platforms. Although we cannot change these resources ourselves, we aim to better understand which resources cause barriers and provide feedback and recommendations to these vendors and/or site owners.
