Baycrest Library
Anne and Louis Pritzker Wellness and Resident Library
Specializes in Gerontology and Geriatrics. The collection consisting of monographs, journals, and audiovisuals, covers the clinical, social, and psychological aspects of aging. Strengths of the library collection include books and journals on dementia, Alzheimer Disease, neuropsychology, neuropsychiatry, and behavioural neurology. In addition, we have a small unique collection of materials on caring for aging holocaust survivors. The main library collection contains approximately 1,000 monographs, 100 journal titles (current, print), and access to over 2000 electronic journals.

Anne and Louis Pritzker Wellness & Resident Library
Specializes in consumer health materials with a particular focus on aging. The collection consisting of books, pamphlets, and audiovisuals, covers a range of subjects including but not limited to nutrition/fitness, stress management/relaxation, caregiving, mental health, complementary and alternative therapies, pain management, death and dying and information related to various diseases. In addition, we have a small collection of materials for children to help them understand a parent or grandparent living with Cancer, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and Arthritis. The collection contains approximately 700 books, CDs, DVDs and approximately 500 pamphlet titles. We also offer a recreational reading collection consisting of paperbacks, Large Print fiction/non-fiction, and biographies.
