Summer Reading BINGO Returns—Now Campus-Wide!

This summer, University of Toronto Libraries invites students, faculty, and staff to take part in an expanded edition of Summer Reading BINGO—a self-directed challenge that encourages leisure reading, exploration, and community connection through books.

Running from May 5 to September 1, 2025, this reading challenge features 24 creative prompts that invite you to try new genres, explore diverse authors, visit campus libraries, and build your reading habit one square at a time. Pick up a bingo card in person or download one online, then track your progress by checking off prompts as you go.

Each bingo line (five completed prompts in a row) earns an entry into our monthly prize draws—and if you complete the full card, that’s twelve entries. You can submit as many completed cards as you like. Submissions are online, and prizes are available throughout the summer.

While all U of T community members are encouraged to participate, only students are eligible for the grand prize draw. A separate prize will be awarded to one lucky staff or faculty participant.
