The Media Commons contains Robarts Library's circulating audiovisual, technology and course reserves collections, as well as bookable screening, classroom and study space.
It is also home to the renowned Media Commons Archives which holds an array of collections relating to Canadian film production, broadcasting, media studies and the music industry.
How to access
Users with a valid TCard or Library Card may borrow from the Media Commons.
Most circulating films and games are available for 2 week loan. Technology and course reserves circulate on short-term loan (hourly or daily). Most researchers prefer to view microform in-house, but arrangements may be made for lending.
All circulating items carry a $0.50 per hour/day fine rate, and all renewals are only considered upon request.
Access to the Media Commons Archives collection must be arranged by contacting an archivist.
