Science Literacy Week is back Sept 18-24! U of T Libraries is once again proud to welcome this nationwide, week-long event which aims to inspire wonder and promote engagement with all things science.

The University of Toronto (U of T) is pleased to announce the expansion of its agreement with the Public Library of Science (PLOS) to fully cover author publication costs for all twelve PLOS journals, including PLOS ONE.
University of Toronto Press (UTP) and the University of Toronto Libraries (UTL) proudly announce that they will continue to make leading scholarly monographs in the humanities and social sciences freely available online, by publishing them as open access (OA) digital editions. As part of this renewed partnership, UTL agreed to increase the number of OA publications that they will fund annually, from three to five monographs. Starting in 2021/22, the second phase of this collaboration will run for a three year period, ending 2023/24.
During the month of November, the University of Toronto Libraries (UTL) will host a weekly series of virtual panel discussions to showcase diverse perspectives on the principles and practice of Open Science, representing voices from a variety of personal and professional backgrounds, disciplines, and affiliations.
