Library access for postdoctoral fellows

University of Toronto postdoctoral fellows

Since postdoctoral fellows are considered to be U of T staff, they are able to take advantage of the in-person library services that we currently offer.

Access the University of Toronto Libraries by obtaining a TCard at the TCard office – TCards are required for entrance to the library.

You will need to bring with you:

  • A letter from the Postdoctoral Office at the School of Graduate Studies containing your UTORid
  • Official government photo identification

Affiliated teaching hospital postdoctoral fellows

Access to University of Toronto Libraries at the Robarts Library Reader Registration desk.

You will need to bring with you:

  • A letter from your University of Toronto faculty supervisor stating that you are a postdoctoral fellow on your hospital's letterhead requesting library access and including your
    • Full name
    • Date of birth
    • End date of fellowship
  • Official government photo identification
